ENDE
HARBOUR
During his exile, Sukarno was forbidden to discuss politics and even read various books. Father Gerardus Huitjin, SVD and Father Dr. Johanes Bouma, SVD (Dutch missionary working in Ende Archdiocese) were two figures who provided space for Sukarno to read books in the church library and freely discuss any theme.
